Job Overview

Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Java AWS Developer to join a forward-thinking energy technology team focused on shaping the future of electric mobility and sustainable energy solutions.

The consultant will contribute to the development of innovative home and fleet charging platforms, smart energy management systems, and cloud-based energy services.
This position offers the opportunity to work within a highly collaborative environment alongside software engineers, cloud specialists, and energy domain experts, supporting the complete lifecycle of modern energy optimization solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and cloud-native services using Java and AWS technologies.
  
• Contribute to smart charging and energy optimization platforms, including V2G-related solutions and energy data integrations.
  
• Support cloud infrastructure operations and device integration within distributed environments.
  
• Develop and maintain APIs and backend services that enable seamless collaboration with internal and external partners.
  
• Implement and support event-driven architecture patterns to improve scalability, reliability, and system efficiency.
  
• Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices to automate cloud provisioning, deployment, and infrastructure management.
  
• Monitor and optimize system performance using tools such as Grafana and related observability platforms.
  
• Work closely with DevOps teams to support CI/CD processes, Kubernetes environments, and cloud operations.
  
• Participate in technical discussions, architecture planning, testing activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  
• Collaborate effectively within a self-organized and cross-functional engineering team while taking ownership of assigned deliverables.
  

Required Experience

• Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in Java backend development and cloud engineering.
  
• Proven experience working with complex cloud integrations and distributed systems.
  

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.

Language Requirements
