You will help modernize a large on-premise platform in an automotive engineering environment, turning it into a highly automated, observable, and scalable infrastructure foundation.
The platform supports more than 2,000 hardware setups used daily by engineers and developers, so your work will have a direct impact on productivity, stability, and troubleshooting across a complex technical landscape.

In this role, you will work closely with development and test teams while shaping how infrastructure is provisioned, standardized, monitored, and improved.
You will take a senior role in replacing manual work with reliable automation and in building a platform that applies data-center-like principles in an on-premise setting.

• You will design, build, and maintain automated infrastructure setups for a large-scale on-premise environment.
• You will create and manage unified OS images used across a broad range of hardware setups.
• You will use Ansible to standardize configuration management, provisioning, and lifecycle handling at scale.
• You will develop and improve automation tooling with Python and shell scripting.
• You will implement and maintain centralized observability with Grafana, Loki, Alloy, and related logging and metrics pipelines.
• You will improve system visibility so logs, metrics, and signals are easy to search, understand, and act on.
• You will identify bottlenecks, failure points, and repetitive manual work, then drive improvements that increase reliability and scalability.
• You will collaborate closely with software engineers, test engineers, and other DevOps specialists to understand platform needs and turn them into robust solutions.
• You will contribute senior technical guidance and help strengthen ways of working, tooling, and platform design.

• Strong experience as a DevOps, Platform, or Infrastructure Engineer in complex environments.
• Hands-on expertise with Ansible for large-scale automation.
• Experience building and maintaining unified OS images and automated provisioning pipelines.
• Solid knowledge of Linux systems, networking, and on-premise infrastructure.
• Experience with observability stacks, especially Grafana and centralized logging solutions such as Loki, Alloy, or similar tools.
• Strong scripting skills in Python and/or shell.
• Comfort working in complex, hardware-heavy environments.
• Ability to collaborate closely with engineering teams and contribute to technical direction.
• Ability to pass required background checks and export control screening.
