Key Responsibilities

– Strategic Leadership: Provide direction and set the strategy for local IT services, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and business needs.

– Management Team Participation: Actively contribute to the Shared IT Services management team, driving collaboration and alignment across functions.

– Exemplify Leadership: Serve as a role model for leadership, accountability, and commitment to values such as diversity and inclusion, feedback, and change management.

– Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets effectively, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently while maintaining service quality.

– Cost Optimization: Identify opportunities to reduce costs without compromising service delivery standards.

– Vendor Relationship Management: Build and maintain strategic relationships with vendors, ensuring alignment with service delivery plans and addressing any escalations promptly.

– Strategic Planning: Develop, adapt, and implement departmental strategies and business plans to support transformation initiatives.

– Service Transformation: Lead efforts to transform and enhance local IT service delivery, focusing on operational excellence and stakeholder satisfaction.

– Stakeholder Collaboration: Proactively engage with business and IT stakeholders to ensure services meet organizational needs and communicate upcoming changes in relevant forums.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Educational Background: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in fields such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

Professional Experience:

– At least 10 years of relevant experience.

– Proven leadership in IT field support, regional IT delivery organizations, or similar roles.

– Experience managing distributed teams and working across multiple IT domains in large enterprises.

– Strong business acumen with the ability to align IT initiatives with organizational strategies.

– Expertise in vendor management, contract negotiations, and stakeholder engagement at senior levels.
