Your opportunity
Join our team as a Procurement Trade Compliance Manager, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our procurement and sourcing activities comply with international trade and customs regulations, with a focus on the Nordics and Ireland.
Your expertise will be vital in managing procurement compliance processes and fostering collaboration with key stakeholders to enhance our procurement trade operations.
You will be a vital internal support, driver, and consultant in matters of Customs, CBAM and Human Rights in the Supply Chain for the rest of the procurement organization.
Location is any of our sites in Sweden or Finland as per agreement.
Traveling is part of the role.
Who you will work with
You will work in a small and dynamic Procurement Development and Supplier Sustainability team (as part of Group Procurement organization) that has a mission to Drive continuous improvement, efficiency and sustainability towards procurement excellence.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, Customs authorities, Chambers of Commerce and external alliances and NGOs to facilitate international trade compliance and build a robust procurement compliance structure.
What you will do
- Ensure procurement operations comply with customs regulations, particularly in Nordic countries and Ireland
- Oversee customs clearance processes, including classification of goods using CN/HS codes
- Manage and develop Intrastat reporting process and structure to track intra-EU trade and ensure compliance with statistical reporting requirements
- Manage the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) data collection and reporting
- Ensure human rights compliance in the supply chain and related improvements
What you bring
- A bachelor's degree in supply chain, International Trade, Customs Law, or a related field
- Over 5 years of experience in trade compliance, customs regulations, procurement, and/or supply chain management (preferably working with laws and regulations regarding sustainability)
- Strong knowledge of Nordic customs regulations, CN/HS codes, Intrastat reporting, and international trade procedures with experience working with Customs authorities
- Familiarity with CBAM compliance and human rights due diligence in procurement / supply chain (and be up to date about the development in these areas)
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional leadership skills
